Romance has always been a big part of my life. Even as a child, I felt most alive when romanticizing the little things, believing in the good in life, and choosing what I wanted to focus on.
As I’ve grown and discovered who I am as an illustrator, I’ve learned that I want to capture light and kindness. Even when dealing with sad, difficult, or complex subjects, I like to bring a cinematic sense of romance into my illustrations—because even the hardest things in life might teach us something beautiful in the end.
If my work can create even the smallest sense of connection, warmth, or kindness, I would consider that an honor.
